Best Mascot of the NCAA Tourney 3/20/08

369293491.jpgIf you haven’t got a horse in the race for the NCAA Tournament, why not consider a fake horse?

In RedEye’s first annual “Best Mascot of the NCAA Tourney” tourney we’re giving you a chance to vote for any of the 59 mascots representing schools in the NCAA field.

Six schools – USC, Indiana, Texas A&M, Mississippi Valley State, Mount St. Mary’s and St. Mary’s – don’t have mascots but the rest do, and they’re paired up just like they are in the real tournament.

Basketball won’t decide these outcomes. So what’s the criteria? That’s entirely up to you. The first round will end at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 24. The next round will begin immediately afterward.
